DriveCo CDL Learning Center’s Indianapolis Campus offers Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) training at the Fortis College Facility in Indianapolis, Indiana, on the fourth floor.  DriveCo’s Class A CDL training is ideal for people interested in becoming professional truck drivers for Local, Regional, and Over-the-Road Trucking Companies. There is no prior knowledge or experience in getting started in the truck driving industry, just a willingness to learn!

From a classroom setting to jumping behind-the-wheel on the streets of Indianapolis, our truck driving students will learn everything needed to start their careers.

If students are looking to start a new career as soon as possible, we have job placement services available to all graduates who are in good standing. Although we cannot guarantee any jobs, our staff will provide you with the tools and contacts necessary to find employment.

How Long Is the CDL Training Program?

DriveCo CDL Learning Center’s Class A CDL training course will take 160 hours (4 weeks) to complete.

What Will I Learn?

DriveCo CDL Learning Center’s CDL training course will step you through the entire process from start to finish of obtaining your Class A CDL.

In the beginning, you will receive classroom instruction to prepare for the BMV written CDL permit exam. The remaining part of the CDL class will teach pre-trip inspection techniques, vehicle maintenance, emergency maneuvers, and all other behind-the-wheel skills required by the BMV during their skills exam.

TRAIN

With DriveCo, students will have in-classroom instruction, as well as the opportunity to drive at our Indianapolis, Indiana location. There is no need to travel to another location for training when it can all be done at the same place!

DRIVE

DriveCo has several training trucks students will drive in during their training. Students will spend time driving with their instructors in the driving yard as well as on highways and interstates within Indianapolis, Indiana.

TEST

When students go take their CDL Test, they will only have to travel a few miles away from our Indianapolis, Indiana location. Students will also be able to drive in the same trucks they have used throughout their training during the CDL Testing!
