Payment Options for Truck Driving School

It is no secret that trucking is the fastest growing and in-demand career in the US economy. The question you need to be answered is…“How can I pay for my Class A CDL Training?” At DriveCo CDL Learning Center, our goal is to assist as many qualified students to get their CDL Training for as little out-of-pocket cost as possible. DriveCo offers a variety of financial options for students concerned with truck driving school costs, or how to pay for their tuition. With DriveCo CDL Learning Center’s tuition assistance options, many students train for free or very little money! Students are able to focus less on the cost of tuition, and more on beginning a new career!

Indiana Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA):

The Indiana Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program provides access to job training to individuals with significant barriers to employment – including veterans, and those with disabilities. If you have been laid-off, receiving unemployment or SNAP benefits, you may be eligible for a grant to pay tuition. Contact a DriveCo admissions representative to point you in the right direction.

Indiana Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA):

The Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program provides support to displaced workers who have lost their jobs, had their hours cut, or have had wages reduced as a result of production moving outside of the United States.

National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP)

The National Farmworker Jobs Program provides access to job placement assistance, tuition assistance, and more to workers who have been employed in the past 2 years doing farm work. To determine eligibility or apply for this program, contact our school admissions office.

Military Benefits:

As an Active Duty or Military Veteran, you may be eligible for educational benefits through the numerous GI Bill® programs available at DriveCo CDL Learning Center. DriveCo is approved for participation in various funding programs offered through the Veterans Administration for active service members, reservists, veterans, dependents, and spouses, each of which is administered differently depending on a person’s eligibility and duty status. Sponsorship Training:

DriveCo CDL Learning Center has strong partnerships with national trucking companies like Schneider and McElroy. These companies will pre-hire DriveCo students and pay their tuition costs if you qualify. In most cases, these Carriers would like you to work for them for one year in exchange for paying for your training. Contact a DriveCo admissions representative to learn more.

Tuition Reimbursement:

Several trucking companies now offer tuition reimbursement for those students who pay for their tuition out-of-pocket. DriveCo has strong partnerships with companies like U.S. Xpress, Werner Enterprises, Knight Transportation, Swift, Schneider National, McElroy Truck Lines, TMC Transportation, and PTL who installments on a monthly basis without the requirement of signing any contract that binds you to their company. Other Payment Options:

DriveCo offers other payment options including two affordable cash payment plans that involve little or no interest. Cash plans include DOT physical, drug screen, and 2-State skills testing fees, use of our trucks, and all course materials. Please talk to an Admission Representative for the latest information.

TRAIN

With DriveCo, students will have in-classroom instruction, as well as the opportunity to drive at our Gary, IN location. There is no need to travel to another location for training when it can all be done at the same place!

DRIVE

DriveCo has several training trucks students will drive in during their training. Students will spend time driving with their instructors in our driving yard, located at our school, as well as on highways and interstates within Gary, IN.

TEST

When students go take their CDL Test, they will only have to travel a few miles away from our Gary, IN location. Students will also be able to drive in the same trucks they have used throughout their training during the CDL Testing!
